What we collect
We only collect personal data when you voluntarily fill in a form on our site, such as:
- Contact form (name, email, message)
- Prayer request form (name and email, both optional, plus your message)
- "Did you pray with us?" form (name, phone or email, where and what we prayed for, optional message)
- Newsletter / interest form (name, email)
- Bible School info request (name, email, phone number, home church, message)
We do not use tracking cookies or analytics tools — there is no Google Analytics on this site. The only thing stored in your browser is your language preference (Finnish/English), which stays on your own device (localStorage) and is never sent to us.
On the Messages page and the home page, YouTube videos are first shown as a still image only. The video is loaded from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) only when you press play. At that point YouTube may process your data according to its own privacy policy.
How we use it
We use the information you provide solely for the purpose you submitted it — for example, to respond to your message, to pray for you, or to follow up about Bible School. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Who processes the data
Form submissions are delivered via Formspree (Formspree, Inc., United States) directly to our email. Formspree acts as a data processor, and messages are automatically deleted from their service after a short period.
The number of people reached through evangelism and public testimonies are displayed from a Google Firebase database (EU region, Belgium). This does not involve processing your personal data unless you have personally submitted a testimony for publication through the church.
Retention
We keep contact information received through forms for as long as needed to handle the matter you contacted us about, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- find out what data we hold about you
- request correction or deletion of your data
- object to how your data is processed
- lodge a complaint with a data protection authority if you believe your rights have been violated
